Achraf Hakimi is under investigation for sexual violence
The alleged victim told investigators that she was raped by the former Inter player at his home in Boulogne-Billancourt. Achraf Hakimi, a Moroccan footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the national team, has been accused of sexual assault on a 24-year-old woman.
The public prosecutor’s office in Nanterre confirmed the news to Agence France-Presse on March 3rd. According to Le Monde, the Moroccan player was interviewed by investigators from the Hauts-de-Seine territorial security on Thursday and placed under judicial supervision. The French newspaper cited a police source as saying that the woman had told police that she was raped by the Paris Saint-Germain player, a former Inter player, at his home in Boulogne-Billancourt, on the western outskirts of Paris. The two reportedly met on Instagram. After exchanging messages in mid-January, the young woman reportedly went to the footballer’s villa, where the argument reportedly escalated into abuse. The 24-year-old also reportedly told police in Nogent sur Marne, according to Le Monde’s source, that she was “kissed and touched by the player without her consent before being raped“.
